Universal, Simple, Bolt-On Design
The Caddy chassis is a patented chassis system that allows a wide variety of trailers to be easily lowered to and raised from the ground by lifting the base of the trailer up and down. As the base is the lowered to the ground, and supported by feet, the axle arms and tongue of the trailer become removable, making the storage unit feature of the trailer immobile unless casters or the axle arms/wheels are reattached.

The patented security features of the Caddy Chassis Sysytem allow trailers to be functional and sheilded storage units, making trailers more difficult to steal as they are grounded and not easily movable. The security features are possible by a patented mechanism that allows the chassis to lower the body of the trailer to the ground and then have the axle arms/wheels and tongue detach, effectively rendering the trailer into a storage container.

Lucky Mfg., LLC is a manufacturing company located in Auburn, Alabama specializing in the production of a unique trailer chassis system (The Caddy Chassis System) and custom, secure, flexible-use trailers (The Vault). We are dedicated to manufacturing high quality, compliant and safe chassis systems along with secure storage and transport vehicles. Lucky is currently recognized by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) as a registered vehicle manufacturer and issues a unique VIN number for each chassis and trailer. These are issued by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) through the approval of NHTSA.
The Vault and Caddy are both compliant with the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers’ (NATM) safety inspections and regulations mandated by NHTSA. These inspections are done every two years; Lucky Mfg., LLC has successfully completed this inspection process three times.
The Caddy Chassis System is distinct in its ability to allow trailers to be easily lowered to the ground, with a removable tongue and axle arms, making storage and security more secure and convenient. The Caddy Chassis System is available in industry standard sizes and is also available in custom sizes through special order. The Caddy Chassis System was designed to be rugged and durable while also being flexible enough to be used in a variety of industries.
The Caddy Chassis System can be retro-fitted onto existing trailers or used as the basis for a custom-designed application. Chassis are manufactured in volume by specific size and trailers are manufactured on demand by custom order as needed. Both The Caddy Chassis System and The Vault are available for retail sale and distribution by third party manufacturers and dealers.
